I first contracted a rash on my neck about four or five weeks ago. I'm not sure what I have. Initally it looked like a burn. It spreads like crazy. When I went to the doctor 2-1/2 weeks ago he gave me a shot and steriod cream. Now it's all around my eyes. I have blisters in the corners of my eyes, the surrounding tissue is swollen and my face is lumpy & scaley. I'm not sure if it will actually affect your eyes, but when I saw my doctor again today, he was concerned enough that he gave me another shot and two rounds of a prednisone type oral steriod in addition to the cream. If you can tolerate it, I recommend getting some type of oral steriod and possibly a shot to knock it out. It's not worth taking a chance with your eyes.
