I was not one who reacted to poison oak before. But I finally did get it last month. I was exposed sometime ( or more likely repeatedly) during a 5 day camping trip. My first symptoms showed up the day after I got home. No symptoms at all before that. I thought they were mosquitoes bites at first...then they got worse--thought spiders had tried to eat me alive in my sleep. =)
But eventually I figured out what the problem was...after it was a huge rash.
No symptoms on the days of exposure..and then it took about 4 days to figure it out. |
