You might try a Rug cleaning machine. eather get one from a rental or Buy one that is on the market. They use hot water and rug shampoo. I will do this once a week when my pets are going in and out of the house. Also wear rubber throw away rubber gloves when doing your cleaning and washing your pets feet, then clean all the door knobs and throw away the paper towels you use to clean them. If you have a pet door, clean it also.
