Last year I had a systemic reaction to poison oak that lasted for 8-9 weeks. It kept spreading all over my body inspite of taking prednisone.
I got it this year working in the yard and have had it for two weeks. Its getting worse as time goes by, especially as it gets warmer or if I get hot from activity. I think it will last this year for 2-3 months if its not healed within the next 2 weeks. Normal is 2-3 weeks. (My immune system must be going berserk.) |
