I'm on my third week of poison ivy mainly on my legs and arms, but now its spreading to my upper stomach, neck, chest and back.
After my third doctor visit, he gave me prednisone 5 tablets a day for 5 days, 4 for 4 days, etc, eventually getting down to 1 tablet. I was also given an oral antibiotic which I just finished.
Why I am still spreading? is the prednisone not working? Should I contact the doctor's office? This is really starting to get to me.....i'm now starting to feel some of the side effects of this lovely drug. |
