I would use this: Ortho Brush-B-Gon Poison Ivy, Poison Oak and Brush Killer. Just follow the directions. For lighter vines, anything with glyphosate or 2,4d in it should aid in eradicating it. You just have to be careful with chemicals. They may take out other plants that you like. If the product drifts or leeches onto desirable plants it will kill them too.
