| Hi all, I am covered with poison ivy and taking Methyl Prednisolone as I write this. Once upon a time,(30 years ago)there was and effective vaccine availible. I received a shot a week for 6 weeks, thick as syrup, painfull and in the butt. I must say though, it was worth it. I didnt get poison ivy for about 10 years! The company making the drug, stopped producing it because there was not enough profit to be made. So maybe we can all get together and lobby one of the major drug companies to make the vaccine again. |
