| There must be at least one medical expert in the field of POISON OAK/POISON IVY. I too, have had mysterious outbreaks that I believe is poison oak related, and each time it seems to get worse. I have seen several doctors and have been given conflicting opinions. My last Dr. told me that poison oak cannot lay dormant, it cannot be spreak systemcally, and that the outbreak that I was experiencing was "CONTACT DERMATITIS", not poison oak. Could this be an allergy that acts the same as poison oak? My skin sometimes reacts to cheap jewelry - mostly when I am hot and sweaty. This is the only other thing that I have a reaction to. I sure would like to find some medically proven answers. |
