| I now have my 2nd severe case of poison ivy. I got the 1st one last August 2003 and on 4/10/04. After last year we bought a spray(recommended by a garden store) and sprayed it wherever we thought we saw poison ivy. So this year I thoroughly surveyed the yard and did not see any and proceeded to weed. The next day I was covered with a rash. My questions: can it still be in the ground after a cold long winter(we live in a suburb of Chicago, IL)? After I got the rash, again I went out to look, and never saw any "leaves of three" except on a wild raspberry bush native to IL. Is it possible to get a rash similar to a poison ivy rash from this bush? I love to garden and am petrified to go in my yard again. |
