| In 1987, I developed my first severe case of poison ivy. The following February, I went to my doctor and got an injection of urushiol deep into the arm muscle. (Very painful!) I got a minor outbreak of posoin ivy between my fingers, but it worked to keep me free from poison ivy outbreaks for about 3 years. I heard that soon after that, the vaccine was pulled off the market. Does anyone know if the vaccine is still available? Thanks! |
