I had a very bad case just like you did about a month ago. The oozing was really nasty and gross. There isn't really anything you can do about it. It's just the way the blisters are...I've experienced similar things with a very bad sunburn I had one time.
My doctor said to wrap it loosely in gauze if the oozing got too bad.
Also, put calamine on them because it will help with the drying.
