I recently had a hip replaced, about 10 days ago, now I'm covered, feet, back, and arms, with a red rash which looks supiciously like poisin ivy. About 3 years ago my wife and I got a dose that was very had to clear up, the doctors told us it was now systemic and would periodically reappear with new exposure, which it has for both of us. Mine has always been on fingers and hands.
When I mentioned this to the doctor yesterday, he looked at me like I had three heads. Is this a possbility, that I have a case of poisin ivy brought on by surgery, or am I just grasping at straws?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
