| we bought a house in Oct this year and have been cleaning the yard ever since. My husband found poison ivy right away and thought he got it all out, but did not. He got it on him and broke out severly. Then in the same corner of the yard he cut down this ugly tree, guess what it was poison Sumac tree. Again he broke out worse than ever and almost had to go into the Hosp. He has had this mess 6 times in 5 months. Yesterday while looking out the back yard he realized that the poison ivy was actually a tree trunk size vine. Now we don't know how to get rid of this. it is all around our house and we have sprayed it with two different kinds of ivy killer but they take weeks to work. My husband has become more and more suseptable to the stuff and now has dermatitus because of it. Please help us figure out how to get rid of this stuff so we can enjoy our yard.
