I too have some thorny vines in my yard although I don't remember fruit on them. I too have an itchy weltish rash and have been unable to identify the plant I am getting it from. Now I wonder if it isn't this one. I have no idea what the plant was but I assumed it was just a weed and have been pulling it. I also assumed that since it had throns that it was not where I was getting the rash from. Have you found any more information? Does your rash spread if you scratch it? The board says pi/o/s doesn't spread when scratched but I am pretty sure this rash does.
