I just got PI, week number two. I am one of those stubborn types that won't go to the doctor. I have not found a way to stop what I call "secondary" outbreaks, which on me are the little "islands of itch". I checked online for several natural remedies and found two that work (at least to ease the itch). The first remedy I tried is tea tree oil. It is very powerful and burns for about a half an hour. It gives me about 4-5 hours of relief, on average. The problem is that I have it (PI) on my genitals and on my face, and the tea tree oil does not feel so good in those sensitive areas. On the other areas of my body the TTO works great (just stinks to high hell). So I looked some more and found the bath method. I use about 10-20 chamomile tea bags in a hot hot bath. This relieves the itching for 8-12 hours. Neither one of these makes the rashes go away but the tea bath really helps, especially around bedtime.
