For my sci. project, we were supposed to pick something that had the potential to go to nationals. One person decided to try and make a better water filter than the ones out there. I chose to figure out a way to better prevent/cure the rash you get from the urushiol within the plant. I was thinking of something but theres no way i could test it w/o the board saying no. I read somewhere that the urushiol itself wouldn't do anything if your body's histamine wouldn't react/overreact to it, so I was thinking of applying an antihistamine PRIOR to exposure. My sci. teacher wants me to use a gas chromometer (spelling?) to extract the oil, and for that I need the plants.
