| First time poster....first time poison ivy sufferer....hope its the last. I have tried everything cort shots,creams,Zanfel(Paul Harvey promised it would get rid of it in 30 minutes. At 30 bucks for a 4 oz. tube it should have. I finally went back to the doc and he put me on Methylprednisolone 4mg dospack. After the second day I'm starting to see healing. I'm also using Fluocinonide gel 0.05% rubbed on the infected area 3 times a day and Clarinex for the itch. Both those work well. I have to ask though is what I'm taking and what you guys refer to as prednisone the same. |
