I recently bought an older home with a number of flower beds. It seems all the beds have some amount of poison ivy. I keep getting it while trying to clean out the beds. I have sprayed it with round up and "killed it". I understand the oils remain and can remain for up to 5 years. I would like to be able to use my flower beds before there is a new president in office. What is the best way of getting rid of this mess?
