Try Zanfel, which I used earlier this summer very successfully after having had poison ivy on my arm for several days. It washes the chemical away. Costs about $35 over-the-counter and well worth it - works almost right away. It is not a medicine like Benadryl or hydrocortisone that wears off - it actually removes the source of the problem.
