| I have had PI for almost a month myself now. I have it all over my feet and arms. It never blistered, but it is bumpy and SO itchy. My doctor told me not to use the Benadryl (topical) because it will cause the rash to get worse. I was on predisone for the past week and took my last pill two days ago but I still have PI just as badly. My doctor told me it might get worse for a few days before it goes away completely. I honestly think he hasn't a clue what he is talking about because he mentioned that if it isn't gone in two more days, then it probably isn't poison ivy... so I guess he just told me that it was pi when I paid him money at my visit last week. It's amazing to me that there isn't a cure to this when it affects 90% of people. |
