i have a real bad case of poison ivy and am concerned about washing my clothes and spreading it on all my other clothes. the clothes i was wearing at the time i got poison ivy is in the middle of my clothes basket and has undoubtedly touched my other clothes. if i wash them could they go to another article of clothing and promote more rashes on me or does the oil break up with the detergent and water in the washing machine?
