| We have been gathering wild mushrooms in the woods without getting poison ivy, but sometimes the mushrooms have unknown green plants growing nearby. I am now worried that the mushrooms may have touched poison ivy leaves. What kind of reaction might result from eating the mushrooms? If the mushrooms have been dried by a process of heating in the presence of air flowing would the urushiol be removed into the air or remain on the mushrooms? |
