There is not correct answer to the question. Poison ivy can be found as a vine (toxicodendron radicans) or small shrub (toxicodendron rydbergii) with many leaves. Each leaf though has 3 leaflets. When you hear that old adage of "Leaves of 3, leave them be" it's technically incorrect as it should be "Leaflets of 3, leave them be". |
