i am just getting over it, and spending enought time and money on getting over it, so here is my 2 cents of advice. first of all go to the doctor, don't wait. especially if it is you first exposure, don't wait untill it is all over you.
so here i make a list of what to do.
1-go to the docotor
this what you can ask him to prescribe to you
a)49 pills of prednisone (steriods)by the generic kinds is around
$14 dollars only
b)diprolene AF .5% this is most expensive, around $80-$100
c) so antihistmine pills ( bendryll is not good enough)
if you one of the lucky people who poison ivy doesn't hurt them that much then good for you. over the counter creams won't do it i tried all of them, they just make it worth becuase it drys your skin which cause itching.
i found this interesting though "hot showers real hot" my doctor did not advice me to do it, but it gives such a relief at night so try it if you can sleep, it numbs your skin.
put 3 weeks before you skin look like skin again.
