Hi Betsy,

I understand that all of the plants in the family produce flowers/berries, but what I saw that I thought was poison ivy had berries that varied (didn't mean to rhyme!) in color from whitish to blueish. The one thing I noticed too, was that the blueish ones were also fuzzy-spikey on the skin. Is this an indicator in either a yay or nay decision? I'm in mid-California (San Jose) and poison oak is the biggie here. On my visit to Orange County last weekend, I saw the plant described above in bushes/vines, along the river banks. It was definitely not anything in the family of blackberries, vine berries, etc. I'm pretty familiar with plants, but this one was new to me. I'm sorry for not having a picture, but wonder if anything about the berries points to poison ivy.

Thank you.

Thank you,
Keely
