I am currently suffering from a systemic reaction.
Over the 7/4 weekend, I contacted PI via a dog who brushed against my leg. I had two silver dollar sized patches on my leg. I treated as usual - washing with Tecnu 2x a day and CalaGel as needed. On Wednesday last week (7/16) the rash was all but gone, just a bit discolored so I discontinued treatment.
On Sunday 7/20 I noticed a new outbreak on both heels, more so on my right heel. Last night (7/22) I noticed outbreaks on both elbows. I also have a couple of splotches on my hands. It is interesting that the recurrance has presented itself on my heels and elbows. Does anyone make anything of that?
I have called my physician and have had prednisone prescribed.
