My 40 yr. Old niece went to the emergency room yesterday with a
really bad rash in her eyes and on her face and arms. She said she
had not been around any poison ivy and the doctor said that it was
probably air-born. They gave her some medication and an injection
but by this morning it was even worse than yesterday and had spread
farther. Is it possible that it is an allergy to something else and
not even connected to poison ivy? Everything that I have read is
that poison ivy cannot be contacted through the air, only from the
resin from the plant. Do you know anything more about this than
that? Thanks in advance, Shirley
