| I developed a very bad case of PI in March while cleaning out a wooded area. I received a shot in the beginning and took prednisone for 2 weeks. It took weeks for the blisters and scabs to go away. Now the area is purple/red. Looks like I have been burned. I called a dermatologist office to make an appt. to see what could be done about the "burned look" and the lady told me it will eventually fade and go away. Well, it has been several months and I can tell no difference, still purple/red looking. Any suggestions, treatments, etc? Thanks. |
