Hi Helen -

I can't answer the first question about experience but I did read an interesting page about methylprednisolone. First here is the link: Official Methylprednisolone Website.

Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid and as with all such steroids does have a list of side-effects including dizziness (lightheaded). There is also a warning before taking the pills to discuss with your doctor if you have diabetes. I would definitely call the doctor and discuss the side-effects and also about your diabetes while taking the pills.
