Thanks for the info. I did not receive your email, because I didn't have your address in my contact list and I have been getting far to much spam lately so I just have email coming in from people in my contact list. I thought maybe it was, but I took another look at it today and noticed that the new leaves on the vine crawling up the side of the house look as if they are only one leaf that turns into three, when it gets bigger. The vine on the plant is very red. My husband has been digging it up every year for some time and doesn't believe it is poison ivy. We have a research station in our town. How is the best way that I can take a bit of the plant or should I just take in the pics I took to show it to them? We have a product called killex, will that work on it if it is poison ivy? Thanks for all the info. More pics will have to wait for now, as my camera is in for repairs.
