Betsy, I did that paper test you mentioned...the paper started turning black within about 5 minutes...now an hour later, it's really really black...And I was out there with the digi cam taking pix in it, sticking my hands and the camera up in there to try and get clear pix of the vine itself (it's really sticking to my wooden house!) and that was about an hour and a half ago...still no reaction on me - knock on wood...I tried to get a wide shot of just how this vine hangs over the walkway. I brush my face and neck against it every day when I'm coming and going. And I figured maybe the oil's just not getting on me when I do this...but I DO hit this vine with the weed whacker and the pieces fly everywhere - including all over me and never a reaction to it! (KNOCK ON WOOD) I was doctor-diagnosed with PI on the first 3 occasions that I had it, after that it became old hand.
I got about 20 shots of the vine and my friend who's camera I borrow is going to put all them on CD for me. I'll get that when I go to work Wednesday night and post them first thing when I get home Thursday morning. |
