I am now on the second course of prednison and feeling better.
I have not gotten new outbreaks since yesterday (3 days into second course) and the itching is not as bad anymore. I can keep it on a tolerable level with hot water treatment.
I am not going back to weed anymore in my backyard - the next time I go there will be with weedpesticides and fully covered from head to toe.
I never imagined that poison ivy/oak/? would be that bad and now have a bigger respect for the local nature( New Jersey - a wild and dangerous place very different from Denmark)
