Thanks for those resources; now I understand a bit better why the hives. The first year I had hives, my doctor told me that it was impossible that it had anything to do with the poison ivy; the next year she changed her mind. This year, (after no problems last year) I have poison ivy again, but had read about heat causing hives. The poison ivy is tolerable (with using several natural supplements), and since I'm not using hot water, no hives!
