Poison ivy can be found in Taiwan. Here's a reference:
Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, and Poison Sumac - Bill Brooks
And here's the blurb from that page:
It's found through out the eastern United States, as well as all over Mexico, Central America, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Taiwan, and Japan, where it's called "tsuta urushi" or "climbing lacquer vine." It also lives in western and central China where they know it as "tan chi" or the "climbing vine." In recent times it has been accidentally spread into parts of England, Continental Europe, Australia and South Africa. I won't go into what they call it.
This stuff is everywhere it seems.... |
