Hi Scott,

Toxicodendron radicans (eastern poison ivy) tends to grow as a vine. Toxicodendron rydbergii (western poison ivy) tends to grow as a bush. Rydbergii apparently can go to about 10' but is a shrub. Here's a link for more info on that one:

. Eastern poison ivy does like to climb and has been known to take on the appearance of a tree by producing a canopy BUT it's still a vine climbing a host. I don't know of any tree form for this plant.
