Hi-I enjoyed your site. Have you ever heard of anyone with a sever case of poison ivy ending up with systemic reactions? I had a small (dollar-bill sized) but severe patch on one wrist. Shortly thereafter, I had dime and nickel-sized raised red itchy spots all across my torso and upper legs. A skin biopsy diagnosed it as pleva, an auto-immune goof-up. I have found that even two or three spots of poison ivy rash, or any other significant dermatological irritation, anywhere on my body will cause a few itchy spots of pleva to show up. I have wondered if the poison ivy rash caused the pleva disorder to appear, since there seems to be a connection between appearance of skin irriation and the pleva spots. Have you heard of anything else like this? Trying not to scratch, I am "itching in Illinois"
