   Contagious means "communicable by contact". I suppose the rash is

   called "contact dermatitis" for the same reason. At any rate,

   when common folk like myself hear that something is not

   contagious, we understand that to mean that a person who does not

   have it cannot get it simply by touching an infected person or by

   being around them.



   For you to continue posting "facts" which state that contact

   dermatitis from urishiol oils is not contagious is very misleading,

   regardless of whatever advanced scientific theories you may hold.

   Please try to re-read you own article from the point of view of

   those who do not understand bonding, and I think you will see the

   reason so many hold a different "opinion". You will also see a lot

   of contradictions in your article--how can it spread by contact

   with clothing, furniture, unbonded skin, etc, and not be

   contagious?



   For a person with contact dermatitis from urishiol oils,

   looking   forward to 14 days of itching, irritability and sleepless nights,

   it is extremely contagious, especially if they got it by a

   momentary skin contact with someone who already had it.
