  You raise a question I have been asking myself since I also heard these shots were discontinued.  I have been an avid poison ivy/oak receiver for the last 23 years of my life and honestly I am pretty adjusted to the rash now.  Most people know me because of the rash.  Well, these shots called the Numinosis Cycle that you talk of did work great when they were around, but they were found to also cause liver failure, heart disease and foot odor.  I don't know the connection between the three, but its enough to scare me.  I would rather have the poison ivy, you know what I mean?  I hope this helps.
