| I must be in the same boat as you! I am 37 and played in the woods all my life and never had this stuff. I thought I had been bit by a mosquito too - but realized I hadn't after about 4 days and they were still spreading! I wasn't sure about the red bumps that keep popping up, but then there are lines that they say looks like poison ivy. All I know is that if I don't get some relief SOON I don't know what I am going to do! I had a shot of medrol (steroid) last Sunday but it has not helped one bit. I have been taking Benadryl and using Ivyrest which contains calimine lotion. Helps to aleve the itching somewhat, but once it starts it is all I can do to stop it! I am about to go crazy. I am calling the doctor first thing in the morning. Good luck - I can certainly relate to how you are feeling. |
